Educational offer plan

Happy Child
Bilingual Kindergarten

We will tend to organize the class in thematic areas. Each area will contain materials that will allow the child to work in a specific area. In these areas will be placed educational tools aimed at activating creativity and learning through play and the possibility to experiment. The children will be offered "pertinent and attractive" scientific material aimed at the sense-perceptive education that induces the analysis and refinement of movements and causes the focus of attention. At the age of three the child's play will be a job for him, because the child will be working for his own development. That is why Maria Montessori calls the child

 "small conscious worker". His task will be to produce the man.

SCHOOL PROGRAMMING

From this year our kindergarten becomes bilingual and will continue to apply the educational principles and the Montessori method, aiming at the active development of each child's personality and well-being.

As Maria Montessori intuited, illustrating the concept of " absorbing mind ", in which the child absorbs everything that is around him with extreme speed and simplicity, in the same way the child is predisposed to language learning from childhood.

From this year within the school the normal daily conversation by the teacher will be   in English and the educational didactic activities will be presented in both English and Italian, in order to allow children to develop their skills in both languages.

This year's program in particular provides:

PREGRAPHISM

(straight lines, curves, zigzags, mixed, paths, labyrinths, connections by arrows, drawings relating to the different seasons).

PREWRITING

Italian and English literacy (vowels, consonants, foreign letters, syllables, simple words).

PRE-CALCULATION

Italian and English numbering (numbers from 0 to 20, rhythms, sequences, repetition of the sequence of numbers, association of numbers to quantity or measure).

PRE-READING

Reading of letters of the alphabet in Italian and English (reading of letters of the alphabet, of syllables, knowing how to distinguish an image, a drawing from writing, knowing how to organize the sheet space, listening and reworking read stories, reading images, symbols.

TOPOLOGICAL CONCEPTS

Expressed in Italian and English (above, below, inside, outside, in front, behind, near, far, right, left, graphic dictations).
